Job position: Extrusion Technician

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the production of sheet to required customer specification and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Day to day activities will include:

  • Carrying out work activities in line with production plan in order to keep ‘downtime’ to a minimum
  • Production of sheet in accordance with Company and customer quality guidelines, e.g. colour, tolerance, profile
  • Maximising line speed whilst maintaining sheet quality
  • Ensuring edge trims are within agreed parameters/acceptable levels
  • Conducting regular quality control checks and recording data
  • Ensuring accurate completion of production documentation
  • Taking appropriate action to remedy products identified as being out of specification and following appropriate procedure to notify the Company
  • Monitoring Extrusion Operative activities and providing support to ensure that duties are carried out to the appropriate levels

The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for technical work and an understanding of the extrusion process although full training will be provided.
Applicants should also have:

  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Awareness of current Health & Safety practices

Hours of work:
Continental shifts – 4 days on/2 days off/3 nights on/2 days off/3 days on/2 days off/4 nights on/8 days off
Average hours of work – 42 per week
6.30am – 6.30pm dayshift
6.30pm – 6.30am nightshift

La Risorsa, che dipenderà gerarchicamente dall’Amministratore Delegato del gruppo, dovrà coordinare e supportare l’attività dei team HR delle diverse sedi (attualmente 2 persone in Italia, 1 persona nel Regno Unito), che si dedicano alla gestione dell’Ufficio HR per un totale di circa 430 dipendenti a livello di gruppo.

Gli obiettivi principali della Risorsa dovranno essere:

  • Contribuire ad elaborare e applicare le strategie aziendali in merito a organizzazione del lavoro e rispetto delle norme di legge e contrattuali;
  • Sviluppare un’organizzazione orientata alla valorizzazione delle risorse umane e della crescita professionale;
  • Assicurare il mantenimento del dialogo tra management e dipendenti.

MODALITÀ DI LAVORO:
Full time come attività lavorativa in presenza presso l’Headquarter di San Daniele del Friuli (UD).
È richiesta la disponibilità ad effettuare brevi trasferte occasionali presso le altre sedi del gruppo in Italia (Amaro, UD) e all’estero (Newcastle, UK)

AREE DI RESPONSABILITÀ:

La Risorsa avrà la responsabilità delle seguenti aree:

  • Condividere e contribuire ad elaborare gli obiettivi e le politiche aziendali e di gruppo in ambito HR
  • Garantire l’applicazione a livello aziendale del CCNL e della legislazione vigente in materia di lavoro
  • Supervisione del processo di gestione amministrativa del personale
  • Supervisione del processo di ricerca e selezione del personale e delle attività di employer branding
  • Supervisione del processo di formazione e performance management
  • Supervisione delle attività di monitoraggio KPI, reporting, budgeting e forecasting
  • Gestione delle relazioni industriali e del contenzioso
  • Supervisione e supporto nella gestione dei rapporti con i fornitori (agenzie per il lavoro, enti di formazione)
  • Relazioni con enti terzi (istituti nazionali, centri per l’impiego, scuole, università, associazioni industriali e di categoria)

REQUISITI MINIMI:

  • Laurea
  • Conoscenza ottima della lingua inglese, scritta e parlata
  • Precedente esperienza di almeno 5 anni come HR Manager/Director e di almeno 10 anni nel settore delle Risorse Umane
  • Precedente esperienza in aziende di ambito manufacturing, di almeno medie dimensioni
  • Esperienza nella gestione delle relazioni industriali
  • Capacità di organizzazione autonoma
  • Capacità di relazione interpersonale anche in situazioni complesse
  • Conoscenza ottima del Pacchetto Office
  • Gradita conoscenza approfondita del vigente GDPR e della legislazione in materia di privacy

Job position: Extrusion Operative

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the production of sheet to required customer specification and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Main duties:

  • “Haul off’ of rolls at the end of the extrusion line
  • Pack finished goods in accordance with agreed packing specifications
  • Apply appropriate labelling to finished goods
  • Log both ‘good’ and ‘scrap’ material accurately and efficiently
  • Cut cores and replenish consumable goods as appropriate to ensure effective running of line
  • Ensure bath units are topped up with correct solution
  • Conduct and accurately record quality control checks, taking remedial action where required
  • Clean rollers as required to ensure effective operation of equipment
  • Ensure raw materials supplies and material feed are maintained
  • Removal of ‘scrap’ product, following appropriate procedures
  • Follow appropriate procedure to notify the Company if the product is out of specification
  • Adopt a ‘clean as you go’ approach to ensure housekeeping standards are effectively maintained
  • Carry out duties in accordance with all Company policies, procedures and SOP’s
  • Support and train colleagues where necessary, in line with work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Carry out duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Contribute to and participate in Company activities
  • Contribute to the business by identifying opportunities for improving working practices, processes and/or procedures based on experience
  • Carry out additional and/or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business

Applicants should also have:

  • Production experience gained in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
