Job position: Toolroom Assembly Technician

This role is factory floor based and involves carrying out assembly and testing of thermoforming mould tools.

The successful candidate will be a time served tool fitter / mechanical assembly fitter, with the ability to carry out basic drilling, milling, surface grinding and turning to assist in the final assembly of mould tool components and will be required to carry out water / pressure testing to prove water circuit integrity.

Welding experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Hours of Work:

Permanent Day Shift 8:00am – 4:30pm Mon – Fri

Job position: Offline CNC Programmer

Our Design, Prototyping and Tooling division, provides a range of services to the Thermoformed Packaging industry in the UK, Europe and Worldwide. The Tooling division offers packaging design, rapid prototyping, sampling and full production tooling services to a wide range of Thermoformed packaging manufacturers. Due to continued development of our business we have a vacancy in our Tooling Department. The Tooling department designs and manufactures moulds tools for Thermoforming packaging industry.

We are a specialised toolmaker working in the design & manufacture of thermoforming tooling, we are looking for an apprentice trained CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team.

Accountable to the Tool Design Manager you will be involved in programming CNC vertical machining centres.
Ideally the candidate will have  experience of Heidenhain and Mazak CNC controls systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • a Machinists apprenticeship and proven post apprenticeship experience in programming, producing and the measuring of accurate CNC machined parts
  • an appropriate qualification

Desirable features for a candidate would be:

  • previous experience of programming using CADCAM systems
  • a working knowledge of Delcam Power shape / Power Mill
  • Feature CAM would be advantageous.

Job entails offline (office based) programming using Powershape & Feature CAM software to produce 3D models and engineering drawings of mould and other thermoforming tooling components. Also using Powermill & Feature CAM to produce NC programmes for use with 3 and 5 Axis CNC machines.

Conditions of Employment

Hours of Work:
Normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.

Holiday Entitlement:
20 days during a complete holiday year plus Bank Holidays, rising by 1 day per year for each completed year or service at the 1st January, up to a maximum of 25 days per year at 5 or more years of completed service. Employees are required to keep up to 5 days of their holiday to cover the Christmas and New Year holiday period. For part years of service entitlement will be calculated as 1/12th of the annual entitlement for each completed month of service during that holiday year.

Pension Scheme:
All employees are automatically enrolled into the company pension scheme after having completed 3 months service and providing they have attained the age of 22 years, in line with the government regulations under auto enrolment. A 3% contribution is paid by the company and the employee is required to contribute 3% rising in line with Auto Enrolment rules. Contributions are based upon basic salary only.

Probationary period:
12 months. Employment is subject the completion of a Medical History Form.

Salary Scale:
Negotiable dependent on experience. An excellent salary and working conditions are on offer for the successful candidates.

Job position: CNC Operator / Programmer (3 axis)

Our Design, Prototyping and Tooling division, designs and manufactures flatbed vacuum and pressure forming mould tools for the Thermoformed packaging industry.

We are currently looking to add a time served CNC operator /programmer to our CNC cell team.

This role is factory floor based and involves setting up and running jobs with CAD/CAM programmes and programming at the machine, on vertical machining centres for a range of mould and tool components.

The successful candidate will be a time served CNC machinist with proven post apprenticeship experience and ideally have experience of Heidenhain control systems, but must have experience of Mazak (Mazatrol) control systems. This role is suitable for a time served CNC machinist.

Conditions of Employment (Shifts)

Day shift – 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday

Night Shift – 8pm to 6am Monday to Thursday

Shift rota – 4 weeks of day, 2 weeks of nights

  • Effettua la ricerca dei guasti su apparecchiature di automazione complesse
  • Effettua interventi di manutenzione preventiva su macchine e strutture a servizio della produzione e degli uffici di stabilimento
  • Predispone e aggiorna la documentazione a consuntivo degli interventi effettuati
  • Garantisce il rispetto delle norme di sicurezza e igiene alimentare

Sono richieste inoltre

  • Diploma di scuola superiore, preferibilmente a indirizzo tecnico
  • Precedente esperienza nella mansione (competenze elettriche, meccaniche e pneumatiche)
  • Conoscenza delle logiche di programmazione PLC
  • Disponibilità a lavorare su 3 turni, eventualmente anche a ciclo continuo
  • Disponibilità alla reperibilità notturna e nel fine settimana (1 settimana/mese)
  • Competenze informatiche di base

Job Position: Financial Planning and Analysis

Reporting to the Administration, Finance and Control Manager, the candidate must ensure at Group level, the management of operational and financial plans, periodic budgets and forecasts and analysis of variances by interfacing with all company areas (sales, operations, marketing, tresury, accounting) and guaranteeing the information necessary to support the Management in the strategic decisions of the Group. He will be involved in strategic M&A and process optimization projects in order to improve the Group’s performance, minimize risks and seize business opportunities.

Description of the role

  • Development and implementation of tools and systems for forecasting and budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Preparation of reporting that provides the Management and Senior Management with information relating to:
    • Analysis of margins by segment (Business Unit, product, customer, market, etc.)
    • Analysis of variances
    • Update of forecasts and assessment of risks and opportunities with respect to business plans
      supporting the Management and Senior Management in identifying opportunities to optimize company performance and achieve the defined objectives.

The role will aim to develop into a Group function after about 12 months to align systems and tools.
